Rooftop Iron Chef Showdown

CHALLENGE:

Create a one of a kind experience inspired by the Food Network’s New TV series Iron Chef Showdown for the 2017 New York City Wine & Food Festival on Pier 92.

APPROACH:

Design and fabricate multiple touch points throughout the NYCWFF footprint that incorporate Iron Chef Showdown’s iconic assets and design themes. A true extension of the show’s set design, these visually stunning and engaging experiences, spanning the 30,000 square foot pier, included a striking grand entrance, a chic judge's lounge, a larger than life ‘Autumn’s Bounty’ secret ingredient reveal, a red carpet style celebrity chef meet and greet, more than 30 chef stations with live tasting demos, and a dynamic kitchen stadium style video op driving sharable content.

RESULTS:

The Food Network’s Rooftop Iron Chef Showdown Saturday evening experience was the highlight event of the 3-day weekend-long eating and drinking extravaganza with over 3,000 in attendance participating in chef demos, sit-down dinners, walk-around tastings, and meet and greet opportunities with popular Food Network stars.
