CHALLENGE:

Up the ante and make the fifth annual National Jerky Day bigger and better than years past with a more interactive and engaging experience tailored to reach a new more millennial target.

APPROACH:

To celebrate the fifth annual National Jerky Day, TRIGGER(HOUSE concepted, designing and constructed an obstacle course race in the streets of New York City taking the action across the river to BK. With participation and media accessibility being two key performance metrics, TRIGGER(HOUSE partnered with The Northside Festival in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to create the 9,400 sq ft race course in McCarren park, the music, film and innovation festival’s hub. Participants  ran, climbed, jumped, darted and crawled through 6 custom fabricated obstacles, all while being timed to compete for a year’s supply of Jack Link’s Jerky.
